This webinar explores the extent to which renters' electricity use in the United States exceeds that of non-renters. Renters use approximately 9% more electricity than non-renters when including many controls. Many factors contribute, including energy efficiency, behavioural factors, differences in responsibility for bill payment and greater reliance by renters on electric heaters.
