Our conferences provide the opportunity to hear the latest research in energy economics and dialogue that takes place between industry, government and academia. IAEE meets globally between three to five times per year. Don’t miss your opportunity to present your research.
There are many benefits to being a student member in IAEE. Student members as well as regular members gain a broader understanding of energy economics, policymaking and theory.
Membership in IAEE is open to anyone worldwide who has an interest in the fields of energy or energy economics. Our membership consists of those working in both the public and private sectors including government, academic and commercial.
IAEE publishes three publications throughout the year. These are The Energy Journal, Economics of Energy & Environmental Policy and the Energy Forum. Members of the association receive these publications as part of their membership.
IAEE offers a truly global student network inside the association, allowing students from different countries to exchange views on their research topics between themselves and other IAEE members.
To search the the "IAEE Energy Forum" please separate your search strings with commas. For example, a title search of “OPEC, Supply and Demand” will return articles that contain either OPEC or Supply and Demand in the title.

Four times a year IAEE sends its members the "IAEE Energy Forum". The newsletter gives an account of IAEE Affiliate/Chapter activities and provides special reports and energy information from around the world. The Newsletter also contains articles on a wide range of applied/topical energy economics issues, as well as notes and special notices of interest to members. Further, the publication lists a calendar of upcoming conferences/seminars/trade shows as well as recently published books of interest to energy economists.
