The British Institute of Energy Economics (BIEE), founded in the early 1980s and formally established in 1984, grew out of early IAEE conferences. A registered charity, BIEE has long hosted lectures, seminars, and major conferences, including early IAEE international events in Cambridge, fostering high-level dialogue among governments, industry leaders, and scholars on global energy policy and markets.
